[Rhodes22-list] Main Sail Speed

Yes Rummy, more time sailing is needed.
I don't care so much about speed as I do about feeling that I can handle the
boat in a variety of situations, and it will respond well under sail, not
having to turn on the outboard in an emergency

and I am beginning to not care if I sound like an idiot.

The only way to make a CDI furling genoa is to reef it, correct?? and yes I
can use the inner leads... I admit I was trying that out last fall  more
than this summer...

Thanks for the reminder on that Stan.

With the CDI furler jib, which is my jib stay....can one add a self tending
jib, which I assume is more of a storm size jib?

I do like a jib on a traveler bar, but again that is what I was accustomed
to...
