[Rhodes22-list] Christmas Cactus

  We have many varieties of cactus down here in South Texas. For years, I have cautiously guarded a dwindling native population of peyote (Lophophora williamsii) on our 250 acre ranch near Rio Grande City (every joker thinks they're a member of the "native american church", and can just jump the fence and help themselves to a few dozen....), as well as the even more endangered Starr Cactus (Echinocerus rudmanii sp.). I have an extensive collection of cacti myself. 
   
  That's a heck of a Christmas cactus you have pictured there!
   
  FYI I have attached a jpg of a most unique specimen of Seguaro (Cereus giganteus) for your professional edification....
