Roger,

Nice work on the first interview, Roger. Mission accomplished!

Absolutely -- good luck! You deserve this job and I hope the hiring bosses
can see that you're the best for it.

Double good luck! Go get 'em.

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] I Didn't Get Voted Off The Island

Hi Everybody,

I got some good news today. I have an interview with the plant manager of
Michigan Ethanol, LLC. in Caro, MI this Thursday at 10:00 AM! He would be
my direct supervisor. As Technical Manager, I would be the #2 person at the
Caro plant. I will also be meeting with a couple of the people who would on
my staff.

I guess I read the tea leaves wrong last week. I didn't think it went all
that well; but, I didn't get voted off the island and instead survived to go
thru to the 2nd round of interviews. The headhunters teach that your only
goal in the 1st interview is to get a 2nd interview. By that standard of
performance, I guess I'm doing OK.

It's my understanding that, although I would be based at the Caro plant, I
would actually be an employee of Broin & Associates, Inc. in Sioux Falls,
SD. There will probably be a final round of interviews at the corporate
headquarters in Sioux Falls, SD.

I haven't heard anything from MRI in Kansas City, MO. Actually, I didn't
really expect to hear anything before the middle of January.

So the game continues. Wish me luck on Thursday!

Needless to say, Deb is pretty happy with this development!
