[Rhodes22-list] The Great Midwest

Michael,
Gusts to 50 knots and seas only to 6 ft? Looks like you win on winds but
lose on waves. Ron managed 14 footers with only 35 knots.

Sorry the snow disrupted your plans to come to Strictly Sail Phila. Show
was good not great. Yesterday we got to climb all over the big boats as
crowds were very light. This morning was much better but we could still
talk to vendors. We did a seminar and then left around 2 to make sure we
got home before the trains stopped running. As it turns out I think we got
only about 6-8 inches of snow in this first round and they are still
operating - albeit well behind schedule.

BTW to keep the thread going, here's the Bay forecast. I may seem mild
compared but we rarely see 5 ft. waves.

Good night to be home with the Famous Grouse.

Best wishes. Hope we see you sometime soon.

Mary Lou
