You people are not getting the idea.  A Mac is a lake boat!  It's just fine on mid/larger size lakes where wave action and largish sea's are not a force to be reckoned with.

Under such conditions a stock boat will give pleasure and perform well.

To put such a vessel into a blue water environment is inviting trouble.  Sadly the manufacturer does not make this clear and a lot of people are putting themselves into jeapordy by exceeding the MODEST capabities of the vessel.
