Catching up on email--

Stan,

You are being too polite.

The Crawfords would never have gone to the bottom.  They would have 
floated to the top.  They bought a Rhodes-22!

The real point is the one made by Michael, and others--the boat is a 
complicated, hand made artifact that should always be thoroughly tested 
before being used at the extreme end of its capabilities.
