[Rhodes22-list] stereo & compass recommendations

Bill,

I bought a bunch of rail clamps many years ago that I use for
everything. They can be mounted or dismounted in seconds, but once
mounted won't move until you move them. I put a screw into 2 clamps,
mounted the clamps on the pop top tube that goes across the pop top, and
slid the V-groove on the back of the speakers over the screws on the clamps.

I just looked in West Marine where I expected to find the clamps, but
failed to find them there. I will look elsewhere and let you know when
I find them.

Also, what type of speakers are preferred for the cockpit -- flush mount or enclosed "box" speakers? We are also looking for a compass. I am considering the Plastimo Contest 101. Is this a good choice? Thanks in advance.
