Why don't you create a separate screen name (e-mail address) just for the R22 
list so it won't clog your 'personal' e-mail.  Then you can use the delete 
key to your heart's content without worry. And if prodigy doesn't allow you to 
create more than one screen name you could always switch to AOL.  

I first signed on to the list last October (election time) under my primary 
screen name and boy was I surprized how many e-mails I received from the list - 
 mostly on the election.  I lurked around for a while and got some really 
good information on the boat as well as the election.    One day I opened my 
e-mail and I had over 100 new messages.  Wow..did I have a hard time picking 
through my family & friends & the R22's notes.   So I deleted my primary screen 
name from the R22 list and in February I created one just for this list.  It 
works well for me.  

I would never have complained to the list....as it was my issue, not the 
lists ...
