[Rhodes22-list] Children/drugs/satire (Giving us a pass for Months?)

Rik,
   Since you answered Bill's e-mail point for point I just noticed something
he said, "We have been giving them a pass on this junk for months."  With
few exceptions I haven't answered very many e-mails from the list until the
past few days when the current discussions began.  I am recovering from two
surgeries at Fort Benning and couldn't type much before this and before the
surgeries didn't really read the e-mails unless they commented on a boat
issue.  Occasionally I saw  something in a magazine I didn't understand
(boat terminology) and asked a question, which everyone graciously answered.
    Usually when I disagree with liberals, the more to the left they reside
the angrier they become.  They get especially upset because they don't
understand that coerced charity isn't charity, forced public service is not
noble, and excessive taxation is not productive.  Usually their opinions are
not supported by the founding documents unless by fiat, the courts wring
some bizzare interpretation out of them.  I invite Bill to delete any e-mail
from Philip Esteban or Philip (assuming there is not another Philip on the
list).
     Having said that, I have enjoyed Stan's thoughtful answers as well as
some of the others' who don't compleatly agree with me.  It gives me a
different perspective.
     Finally, though I have some time off because of the holiday and have
answered a few e-mails to-day, I didn't find the time to count everyone's
responses.
     If the Charter requires everyone to own a boat who responds to the
list, then I will unsubscribe myself.  My impression was that that type of
snobbery was not the general concensus of the folks who populate this list.

I don't remember any requirement to own a Rhodes 22 for posting to this
list. It seems the subscription page invites anyone with an interest in
these boats to feel free to join in these discussions.

Hmmm..... guess he had a couple hours of free time. Good for him. As far
as his politics being extreme...... It seems Bill that you think anybody
with politics to the right of yours is extreme. Almost any moderate is
quite a ways right of you.

I can't see where anyone has been giving them a pass on anything for
months. They have and continue to contribute to the normal banter on the
list. Unfortunately for you the condescending language and elitist
remarks you tend to use on Steve and I whenever anything political comes
up probably aren't going to work too good with this guy. Tough noogies

AND let us remember that he is going over in harm's way to protect your
sorry ass too so let's at least try to show him a little respect for that.
