Sorry, no info on Bob H.  But I'd bet that's a standard ablative paint and
I doubt you'd get into much trouble with a little light sanding and a couple
coats of new ablative.

For the table/bed dimensions, There's a little "lip" on the forward edge of
the companionway step and another on the aft edge of the board that swings
down next to the head.  The table rests on those lips.  Measure that
specific length, estimate the width (not critical), round the corners.  A
piece of 3/4" plywood should suffice, or match the thickness of the step to
make the bed match.  Ummm...I just remembered you have a '76 Continental,
right?  It may not have been built with the lips.  Fandango is put away for
the winter so no photos available.
