[Rhodes22-list] (political) response to Bob Skinner's post

Herb,

I am not sure if you are asking me....but I thought I made it clear. I did
say Clinton dodged the draft. So yes I think he was a draft dodger. Does
that make you feel better? So what does that prove? Does this change
anything regarding Iraq? If it matters, I did not vote for Clinton!

Perhaps the term draft dodger carries different meanings for some but as I
said (I thought clearly) there were many ways to doge the draft. The real
point of dodging the draft was to avoid going to Viet Nam. If you can't
understand this I think you are being a little stubborn. Reread my previous
post!

Let's face it, the real issue is....how are we going to get out of the mess
our current leaders got us in to? I for one have been against going to war
from day one. It would not matter if a Dem or Rep. led us into the mess. The
mess would be the same. Clearly we reacted on bad intelligence. You were
sold a bill of goods. Now you want to wag your finger at others who had the
sense to see the folly for what it is. Our governent used 911 to go into
Iraq. It seems pretty clear to me. Do you think we would have attacked Iraq
when we did if there were no 911? If you think that then you really don't
have a clue.

As I said no comment here is going to change the opinion of others.

Wally
