Jim,

Buy a new battery from Costco for $40.  The battery should last for 6 years
with your set up, and should provide you with all the power you will ever
need.  I prefer the old wet cell batteries over AGM and Gel.  
Put some kind of meter on the battery every time you go on board.  If the
voltage is under 13V when you first check it (before turning anything on) it
is probably time to put some water into the battery (I know everyone says
use nothing but distilled--I use whatever I've got--tap is fine).  If you
still can't keep the charge above 13V look for something that is shorting.
If nothing is shorting (use your meter to check) it's time for a new
battery.  This should not happen for 4-6 years after buying the new battery.
