Wally, with all due respect, I'm not clear where you are coming from and why
you are writing to Rummy about me. I prefer to be dealt with directly.

I have read and reread my posts, and, frankly I don't see that I attacked
Herb... I certainly did attack his ideas... I didn't attack him personally.
I certainly did use sardonic analogies to show how absurd I think his ideas
are.... I didn't call him names. Actually the whole thing started with my
response to a post by Bill. Herb responded with a post that basically said
liberals are too stupid to understand what Bennett meant.. and implied that
I am a liberal... Ipso, I am stupid... basic logic syllogism.

This sure sounds like prejudging some one because of their politics.
Frankly I think I have held back with amazing restraint given his personal
attack against me. And then when I stopped responding, he escalated even
more and wouldn't leave it alone. The whole dictionary thing demonstrated
an amazing bout of backpedaling. The words were out and he wasn't referring
to whether or not I'm a canine.

I would appreciate it if you would show me where I "was doing as much giving
(actually more) as taking.
She unloaded on Herb first and he fired back.". Let's do the equivalent of
"taking it outside" and continue this back-channel". I'm interested in your
point of view, but I don't think it serves the list members to continue this
bar fight publicly. I only ask that you go back and reread all the posts so
you are clear how the thing got started and who launched the first attack.

Saroj
