Ed,
When I was there I noticed that all the bottles for the 389 models had
been donated by someone called Rummy. That included the lifesize replica of
the Mayflower.

O.K., all you guys familiar with Savannah, have you been the Ships
of the Sea Museum? See: http://www.shipsofthesea.org/
The first time I was there was about 1970. The last time I was
there it seems like it was still in a three story building. Now it looks
like it has moved.
First thing is that it used to be ships of sea in bottles. For
anybody within striking distance, it is worth a visit. I know about its
origin and benefactors, that was why I was there the first time. However,
there was talk that it was not going to continue. I guess that is why it is
in a different location.
Mike, did you ever get to see it? Captain Bob, have you been there?
Has anybody been there in the last few years? Sorry Rummy the bottles do
not have any liquid.
