There was a debate going on last year at the dealer lending dept. Of a very large local bank.  The argument was about whether to require dealers to send photocopied drivers' licenses with new contracts.  

An employee sent this URL to his boss, who managed the area.  Boss man thinks it's for real, and without checking it for himself, forwards to all of the bank honchos.  He made the argument that since the borrowers'  drivers licenses could be viewed on line, there was no need to collect it from the dealers.

I never heard how this message was received by the brass, but one can  assume that he wasn't considered among the brightest department managers in the company.

True story.

Just enter your name, City and state to see if yours is on file. After your 
license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please Remove". This will

remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement.
