Rummy,
  I don't know how old the sails are, I have a 1990 boat, recycled in 1997.
Both sails look very good.  I will take my mast down in a a few weeks and
see if I can tighten it up.

Bud,
No turnbuckle. You just have to remove the tube from the mast and manually  
pull it tight. If there is not slack, then I suspect you might be wanting to  
contact Stan for a new battened IMF.
How old are your sails, do you know?
