Yeah Bill, that's exactly what Rik said. My my my, you read so well.

I suppose sometime in the future, you'll apologize and say "That's not what I meant".

I've argued with Ed off-list from time to time, but now I realize I was wrong.

You're an ass.

Wow, Rik,

Nobody calls you a compassionate conservative, do they?

Let's see, you've chopped a hole through your roof so you can escape
from your house after a levee breaks and floods 80% of one of the
largest cities in the United States. 3 days later somebody shows up in
a helicopter to rescue you--no, wait, I want to swim downstairs to make
a few dozen peanut butter sandwiches for my family...just hover there
for a second...why didn't I think of that earlier?

And what about those people who didn't have the foresight to bring jet
fuel to the airport? What's wrong with them? I always bring jet fuel
along when I travel...just in case. You never know.

Everybody knew the levee was going to break some day. If they didn't
plan for it in advance, fuck em.

And what about those idiots in Galveston putting a city on a barrier
island? If Rita flattens it, let's not even talk about rebuilding--that
proposition should be off the table. We'll teach them to become more
self-sufficient, too.
