Rob,

We lived in Blacksburg for five years way back during college, great town, we miss it, but no we are way North in the foothills, Middleburg, Virginia. Next time we get your way I will drop you a line.

Gray,
When you say the "foothills of Virginia", where are you exactly? I may be
your closest neighbor and I'm in Blacksburg. We have our boat at Claytor
Lake but have to pull her out by the end of October.

never give up or in on a friend or a heading into the big wave. We live now
in the foothills of Virginia, but have sailed in Northern Japan as a teen
and Antigua WI over the past 20 years, but never enough. Does everyone
agree that Stan will fit us out the best in a recycled Rhodes? Who do you
trust these days? Your group might be just one of the last groups that
might not steer a new guy wrong. Lots going on in our lives right now,
death in the family, father-in-law, plus alot more. If I don't get back to
someone email right away, I am sorry. You all are very luck to have your
group and let me in! I hope to meet some of you very soon. How does it
work, are alot of people like me out there looking for a Rhodes? I have
gathered three notebooks of information on this boat and want more. What do
you think about Stans age (79), will he have another 15 years of boat
building? Who will step in af

ownes care so much! I did a little work a few years ago in Edenton and
heard about the Rhodes and Stan. Now I have taken the time to follow up
and just hope I can continue to find the time over the next 12 months to
keep up and buy my Rhodes. If anyone finds out about a inside way of
finding a rhodes outside of Stan's, then please let me know. Other wise I
will continue to work with Stan on one of his boats. I believe, if it going
to happen its going to happen for the right reason.
