Bob,

Stick with Stan.

He'll make you a good deal on the trade-in boat, and put you first in
line for the best used Rhodes that comes in. You'll wind up with the
best Rhodes in the price range you can afford, which he will have the
time to re-build for you during his off-season. You'll be on the water
while you wait for your own boat. Good for you, good for Stan.

No matter what trade-in boat you sail during the interim, you will
really, really appreciate the special features of the Rhodes when you
get your own.
