Art ,and any body else,

The first thing you should know is that nowhere in their web site did I see that they're lights are Coast Guard approved,so I'm assuming that they are NOT.I think the LED light put out more light than the light I replaced,at 15% of the amps.
The steaming light I used was their 'Afa , 18 LEDs ,two rows of 9,each row is electrically independent of the other.Draws 0.120 amps at 11 to 16 VDC.I lit it up with a 9 V drill battery, but it's a little brighter with 12 volts.
The foredeck light is the Doe reading light. When I first received it I took it down to the dark basement and powered it up,paced off 25' and I could read the writing on a tube of sealant.Instantly it was promoted to foredeck light. It draws 0.090 amps.
The 'Afa light is $39.60 .The Doe light is $16 or 2 for $30
Pleased with both these lights,I re-ordered another 2 Does and their anchor light the" Malosi". It has 30 LEDs (two rows of 15 LEDs),draws 0.160 amps, and will set you back $58.50. Shipping and handling is $5.00 for each order.
