[Rhodes22-list] project boat.R22

Michael,
      Looking at the pictures on eBay and the way the guy responded on the
list, I wonder if they are  both the same boat.  He would not post any
details to the list about the boat.  Looking at the pictures, it may be an
early Rhodes 22.  We would need somebody with that year to compare. 
      As I recall the knockoffs came from Connecticut.  We know that Stan
had others made by various plants.  We know some were from New Jersey.  Now
the one on eBay is Missouri.

       Someone will have to shake the tree to know the validity of this one. 
A lesson here for the newbies wanting a boat at any price.  Yes there are
those who make this one go.  However, unless your name is Todd, Lou, Luis,
or Hank, you better think twice. 
       However, the pictures show a boat in better condition than some of
the newer ones we seen.  So float again it may.  Maybe Stan ought to get it
and bronze it, like they did with baby shoes when he was a kid.
