its the "down" part that i am wondering about...   the entire bottom edge of
the slot was smashed, and is now rebuilt.  I'm probably just being over
cautious...

by the way, i was in barbados with the family a few years back.... great
place... there was a very old plantation  with a name I believe you may be
familiar with.... i think you would like that place... ever been there?  :)
