Tom,
  it hit 80 today in Melbourne, Florida.  Also, Melbourne is a lot 
closer to the Bahamas than Cordell Hull Lake.
We are planning on sailing on Christmas Day and going camping for New 
Year's Eve.  If you take a look, I think
you would be happy on either coast of Florida.
