I sail around in a fog half the time anyway--regardless of the weather.  8-)

Ed,
While I don't like being out in fog and low visibility (it's almost never
zero) any cruising sailor can get caught in a 
sudden rainstorm or have to make it home in low visibility. The Rhodes 22
makes a wonderful cruising boat for a 
couple. We find our handheld GPS a solid backup to our coastal navigation
skills. Among other things we know when 
we are entering a shipping channel and the quickest way across which in low
visibility is a real plus.
