Just got a phone call, A boat story just came up :-)

Some one we all known just arrived in FA today.

Get to the boat yard about 3pm.
They down not have a boat lift.
They do have a forklift, but the tongs do not say up(some about the oil
get hot and it lowers on it own).
This is not a boat yard, more a storage place, people are not use to
dealing with boats, a "boat" load of insurance damaged boats piled
their. The seller is in RI and these guys are in FA.
The are boat on eitherside so the forklift can not get in.
After some harang the boat next to it was able to be moved. The trailer
did not fall apart :-)
The forklift can not get under the rhodes (not sure why).
Someone we know is think quick :-)
He looks around the place an finds a long length of rope, 1 1/2 inch
that look like it from 1900, smells like it from 1900, and is fraded
like it from 1900, but figures that will do.
The bow eye is loose, can no do the Standard 3 point GB lift.
The boat is full of water. Over weight(as in tons), will crush the
trailer and the "flackly" forklift is not helping with it self lower
forks, can not get his knife to cut the lazerret hoose.
Drill time, Goes to the store to buy a drill, but there is a problem,
the new drill has an empty battery. Go to customer services and tell the
girl he has a big problem(look on face time), after a second it plugged
in and he is killing time.
Go back to boat, it peeing.......... and getting dark...........
Forklift guy bring in some friend, they rig the boat with rope from
hell, and the get the boat onto the trailer.
Their no back rail so has to build something to support the mast, and
tie down the loose stuff.
Loose bow eye mean he needs to but some straps and strap the boat down,
6 hours later he still working on it and hungry.......................

Boat in wrought shape but Stan should be able to bring it back to life.

All the new that fit to print -mjm
