The water pump on my boat was also fried. It is a small PAR pump screwed 
directly into the bottom of the tank. What pump did you go with? Did you replace 
the faucet as well?

It seems we both did alright on our purchases. I have replaced most of the 
running rigging and some of the standing rigging. The sails are decent for 
cruising, but would not be competitive for racing.

Did your boat have shore power or do you run an extension cord for the 
charger?
