Hello Rhodes Group:

 

I'm contacting you from Missouri, and wondering if anyone out there
might be sailing a Rhodes in this area?  We boat on the Lake of the
Ozarks here, a large primarily power-boat lake, and have been
considering the possibility of getting a sailboat for the lake.  Because
of the many large cruisers on this lake, the water can be very rough and
choppy (2-3 foot wakes from all directions would not be uncommon, with
occasional valley to crest measurements of 4' or more).  I'm wondering
if anyone out there has experience with a Rhodes in similar conditions.
and how the boat handles.  

 

I'll look forward to hearing from anyone who might offer some insight.
