And the neat part is that the Rio Grande takes care 
of some of the moat requirement.  Will have to 
dredge/blast part of it, though.  I walked across it 
in 1976 in Big Bend National Park, "San Vicente 
Crossing" if memory serves.  Others were trekking 
the other way at a good clip -- pickup truck after 
pickup truck full of Mexicans arriving, few leaving 
in the trucks...
