Hello,

My name is Bob Noreau, I answer to "Capt'n Bob", or "1 Eye Bob", yes, I
wear an eye patch. Have for 20+ years.
Thought it would fit me better if I got a sailboat under my butt. I did.
Yes, "Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" is my favorite letter. That
a clear enough into as for the shmuck with the leaky boat???

Joking aside, I have owned several smaller sailboats of all types. Mostly
all have been handy man specials. I am just a
plain blue-collar guy. I have dreamed about a 22' foot sailboat for years.
I stumbled into 1 at and auction in
midwinter (in Cold New England)

She is in my back yard waiting for warm weather to get started the several
repairs needing to be repaired. I must
admit, some of the task at hand are a bit over my head but the budget only
allows for me to do my own repairs. Your
kind advice would be greatly appreciated. To be honest with you I seldom
read this daily e-posting, as much of this
is out of my grasp until I have the chance to launch this boat and gain
knowledge of the lifestyle. I am certain the
obsession will take hold of me once I begin sailing it.

Thanks

Bob listed below are the original postings

I just got the boat this winter, looks like it had been leaking at that
area in the cabin where the roof meets the wall,
from the mast area forward? Others with this experience and solution??
please

How about a little introduction including your real name. This is not a
severe problem and an easy fix that has been discussed many times and is
available in the archives. However, going through the archives can be a
pain and also
time consuming. After a proper introduction, we will be glad to help you.
