My CDIs have treated me well, no failures, simple to
install, versatile in use.  Just secure the turnbuckle,
and keep any extra halyards / topping lifts tight and
away from the top cap.  Fairlead setup or feeder sheave
adjustment is key (probably not news to an old hand).
