How so Robert? How is it "backwards"? It IS sad that people must volunteer their lives to defend a nation, but that's the nature of man. Sending those men to war should not be a crime in and of itself. Were it so, our presidents would have been "criminals" during WWI, WWII, Korea, etc etc etc. 

Like I said, if anyone wants to argue the right and wrong of the war on it's own merits, fine.

However; the comparison to other things that are undoubtedly wrong is intellectually dishonest.

Sort of the like the guy that is speeding, and complains as he gets the ticket that the policeman should be concentrating on other crimes instead.
