there are times when i really believe george when he says things like "if someone has a better idea i'd like to hear it" but there is so much secrecy that noone can make a good suggestion because they only know half (or less of) the story. they must be flooded with suggestions phone calls and emails. compromise is only possible when both sides are honest. george has not been honest and probably can't be honest. he's stuck. hes a powerboater not a sailor. sometimes you just have to tack.

If you think GB and the Republicans can stop the dem's, they didn't listen 
very well to the voters. If they screw up the next two years, the next set of 
elections will make this years look like a garden party.
