I never said they did.  
Must have been someone else.
I reflected on the coincidence that the 
  initial numbers were in the same ballpark.
Hence the question about leadership - implying 
  that the responses were so completely different.
Yes, of course the circumstances were also different.
But in some ways, we tried to respond the same way.

Now, how do we adapt to the new realities,
  tactics, and strategies?  
What is a good plan for today's end game?
Is there an end game?

Now that some more options are open, let's look at 
  what we (all of us) need to do to clean up this mess.
