Hank,

If your seat drain hoses are plugged, the water will build up on the 
back seat and go through the lazarette hatch and in. This will easily 
account for 50 gallons of water in the boat. Don't ask me how I know 
this. :-) Bet that's your trouble, but, I'd check those hoses just the 
same to make sure they aren't cracked.
