DO seriously consider and buy a recycled Rhodes...you will not be
disappointed.
Really, the cockpit is so secure, you do not miss the lifelines.
I never had depthfinder, etc but you can surely put it in from Stan.
You sill love the simplicity and joy of sailing this boat when most times
you would be at the dock in another boat.
