[Rhodes22-list] Weather

Chet,

Airplane Owners and Pilots Association, www.aopa.org, has several weather
tutorials online that are aviation specific but would work for boating as
well. After a 25 year absence I feel like I'm being exposed to General
Aviation for the first time. The amount of resources on the 'net is
incredible. I've been using aopa online flight planner and their access to
FAA duat weather data. The weather overlay on top of map detail is
awesome. Somehow, I still miss the sound of the clattering teletypes at a
FSS station and looking at an analog radar scope through a rabbit fur visor.
