[Rhodes22-list] A visit to a Rhodes

Frazier,

I'm in Greenwich, but haven't been on my boat all year due to
circumstances that remain beyond my control. My boat will be on the
water until Nov. 15, although I don't see any way I can commit to a date
before November 8, weather permitting.

After Nov. 15 my boat will be open and on land at Greenwich Point, and
we can virtually sail it.

If you are 90% of the way there, I'm sure you will be 10% more
convinced before next Spring. The boat is everything you expect and more.

Order early, and you will get your boat early. Send Stan a down payment
so he can start building your boat before he starts to work on orders he
will get from the boat shows. Each boat is custom built to order, so
you can still have yours built in time for delivery early in the Spring.

Send Stan a down payment to get him started, and to put yourself at the
front of the line. The down payment is refundable (for a while...until
you get to actually see a boat.)

Nobody who was 90% sure before seeing my boat has ever failed to buy a
boat after coming on board mine. My guess is that others who have shown
their boats to people already 90% sure would all make the same statement.

We would greatly appreciate if a Rhodes owner would let us take a brief tour of a Rhodes 22. We are sold on the large cockpit, but want to make sure that the cabin is acceptable. We live in West Hartford, CT and plan to keep the boat in a CT shoreline marina.
