Erly,
   I don't know if you would call them disadvantages, perhaps more nuances...
The 175 Genoa is large, and can be difficult to see around.   Also, it takes some
skill (or panache) to keep the 175 Genoa from getting hung up on the stays while 
you are beating.   I have also noticed that your noggin tends to rest upon the 
bulkhead when you are sitting on the cabin settie on the port side.  This can be 
uncomfortable after a while.
