Congrats!  Get a copy of Don Casey's book "Hull & Deck Repair".  The
softness in the foredeck is easily repairable.  Buy Nigel Calder's
"Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual" and your boat repair library
will be complete.  Good Luck and Happy Sailing.
