Elle,

Gee, I take a couple of days off from the list and boom - Ed has a bunch of
new "friends"!  Never having met Ed I have known many very similar souls in
life - they are basically harmless and probably are great folks, if you can
get through the bluster.

I didn't realize that we were evaluated based on the quantity and quality of
our contributions to the list.  I always thought that we were just sharing
our experiences and what little knowledge we have gained.  Silly me...

Congrats on your new baby (or toy, depending on your perspective.)  When
given a choice between sailing and almost anything else, sailing is the
right choice.
