[Rhodes22-list] lines - This is for Elle, again

Elle,

I'm no mathematician, so my figurin' may not be drop dead accurate.  Based
on the the Rhodes' 8'6" beam, you should get about 5% more play if you cross
your lines.  If your line from your boat to the dock is 10', you would only
lose 6" by not crossing your line.

At my marina, boats that can cross their stern lines do, but many don't have
a practical means to cross their bow llines.

Unless you have a very narrow slip, I wouldn't worry about it.
