[Rhodes22-list] How to handle gusty winds?

Hi Folks, 
Here on Long Island and Block Island Sound, I've found that the Lazy Jacks  
installed years ago, often when hauled in at appropriate times go a long way in 
 losing some control or risk of sail damage. I sail most often single handed 
in  winds below 20 kts.
