Michael,

check this out:

http://rhodes22.nexo.com/

I found this site and created a group just for the heck of it.

Anybody is welcome to join to test it.

Luis

Yahoo works for several groups that I moderate, and a
group can be set up to allow attachments inline.
It does not discriminate between attachment types.

It does not archive attachments if they are attached
to a message. If a member opts for digests of a day's
worth of messages, he does not see attachments. They
are over the side unless amother member has saved
individual messages and agrees to forward one or more
old messages to him/her.

Occasionally, Yahoo changes the rules, bot in general,
it is a good free service.

I'll be interested in other Rhodies' reactions to and
experiences with Google groups.

will i still get email or do i have to go thru google to read threads
similar to trailersailor or sailnet? yahoo seems to have a lot of sailboat
groups. i have been on a yahoo group for microcruisers.....its pretty
straight forward. the biggest issue might be how pics are handled, since
some members here have trouble sending and receiving pics thru the list.???
