[Rhodes22-list] Katrina Update

Brad, I am not commenting on your financials or your home value. If you are
in Shelby County don't be so sure your home value hasn't dropped. It is the
worse county in the state for foreclosures and many areas of Shelby are
seeing reduced values. This is a fact. In any case when you can look at the
big picture instead of Brad's you will find my statements are correct.
Savings (adjusted for inflation) are at all time low and debt is at all time
high. Average home value did drop for the first time in over 70 years. As I
mentioned the stock market is doing well and so am I.... and the yes
unemployment is low.

So is the glass half full or half empty? I don't have the same rose colored
glasses you do. Our government is emulating the citizens and living on
credit. When the credit dries up the spending will stop. You never here me
suggesting support of nanny state and I am not suggesting the government
bale anyone out. It just pisses me off that we are wasting billions in Iraq
and folks seem just fine with this. To me the glass is half full and is
leaking.
