Rex,

Lake Hartwell is not a TVA lake but a Corps of Engineers Lake built for the
same reasons that TVA was built: flood control, electricity and to please
powerful Senators.
Yes, the wind does change a ¼ mile or so. And not only direction but also
velocity. Only Rummy sets up and runs the length of the lake.

It has many island, big and small and more when the water level is down.
It has buoys that move in front of sailboats, just ask Rummy. It is South
Carolina on the east side and Georgia on the west side. See:
http://www.sas.usace.army.mil/lakes/hartwell/

Rummy lives in the bottom of this picture:

If you could see the east shoreline of this picture you would
see: http://www.wcsc-sailing.org/

	I sail out of : http://familyoutdoors.com/pages/bigwater.htm

There is a former Rhodes 22 owner selling his house on the east side of the
lake between Big Water and Rummy. Ask Rummy for the web site of Bob’s
house. It has a dock big enough for several boats. It sits on a point
overlooking the main sailing parts of the lake. You can sit in the living
room and watch sailboats….
