Brad,

I guess I replaced 95 percent of our incandescents with curlys, probably
35 or forty bulbs, give ot take. The only incandescents left, don't get
turned on much, if at all. Seems like the power bill dropped 8 or 10
bucks a month. I believe, our power is relatively cheap (like 6 1/4
cents KWH, I wanna say) compared to some other areas of the country, so
If I'm seeing this much, those with spendy power should feel quite an
impact. At the rate I'm going, the bulbs should payback in a couple years.

As to lumens, after they warm up in a couple minutes, I don't see a lot
of difference. Anywhere I had 60s before, I have 60 equivilants (23
watt, I think) now. All the mutiple bulb lights like the 5 bulb light in
the dining room, all have 40 equiviants (7 watt?) in them ..... lots of
light.
