[Rhodes22-list] Elevator story

I'm sure he did.

It's so socially funny.  I never saw his face, which I would have 
recognized.  As you know, around here, there are situations in which eye 
contact is considered a provocation.  Not me.  I never looked up, I 
couldn't step out of the elevator, I just hoped there was something 
other than my worst fears to explain why this guy was in this place at 
this time.

Lucky for me, there was a good reason.
