Rummy,

I second Shem Creek restaurants however even better just go to the Fresh 
Seafood shop in Shem Creek and cut out the middle man. We usually stay on 
Isle of Palms and bring back fresh shrimp and fish to condo. I can cook much 
better than most restaurants and it is much cheaper. You also can drink all 
you want and not worry about drive back to condo.

When we cruised through Charleston we stopped at marina for fuel (can't 
remember the name)  but we didn't have time to linger. We spent the night on 
the hook just a little south of Charleston on the ICW.
