[Rhodes22-list] Joseph - GA question

Joseph,

Have you crossed paths with Tim Carrol, the AG for the Mississippi CAP
wing? Tim and his wife are friends of ours and he's been after me to
take-over as mx director for years. I've avoided doing so because of other
diversions and the fact that I've been out of GA for so long. Since buying
the Bonanza I've slowly spooled-up on GA issues and am knocking the rust off
my A&P certificate. Two questions; (1) do you have a web based maintenance
system for keeping track of mx issues for the CAP aircraft? and (2) are you
still using paper logbooks for each aircraft or do you use an electronic
version?. The logbooks for my Bo are typical of a 59 year old airplane - a
big bag o'stuff. I'd like to convert it to an electronic format but haven't
found one yet at an affordable price. I'm flying to Paducah, KY in May to
have my airplane gone over by an expert from the American Bonanza Society
and would like to have the records in a more user-friendly format by then.

Oh yeah, did I mention there may be some beer drinking with Anne involved?

Brad
