Even if you only day sail, you absolutely need a radio.  Lay off the booze
and fancy dinners just long enough to get the money for one.  As per Rummy,
mount antenna on top of mast.

You need to make a trip to Mecca (aka, Edenton, NC) and pay homage to the
Comodore.  That is if you are willing to see an 80 try to build a sailboat. 
You need a vacation, don't you?  Why not pack the wife in the car and go
south?  You do not need to take your boat, Stan usually has one at his
house.  And you will experience the smell of new boats, just ask Michael
Meltzer.  Since you are making the trip, volunteer to haul a new Triad
Trailer down to Stan... make amends.
